Instructions:

1.    Take a sheet of Balmy Blue 8 ½” x 11” and cut to 11” x 5 ½” and score at 5 ½”. This will be your card base. NOTE: This will be a top fold card. Set aside.

2.    Take a sheet of Basic White and cut to 5 ¼” x 4”.

3.    Using the Linked Together Masks, use the Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad and the Sponge Daubers to mask the Basic White piece.

4.    Run your finger-nail around the end of the white to make it look curled and old. Set aside.

5.    Cut three (3) turrets and one (1) gate out of the sandpaper. See the video for tips and tricks.

6.    Use the Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Combo pack to color one of the turrets and make it darker. NOTE: This will be the back turret when placed on the Basic White. Set aside.

7.    Use the sponge dauber and the Uninked Stampin’ Pad & White Craft Refill and color the remaining castle pieces to create perforated lines. See the video for tips and tricks.

8.    Use the Espresso Marker from the Neutrals Stampin’ Write Markers and draw over lines [to create the castle look]. Blend in with the sponge dauber. Use the marker and sponge dauber to color in around the edges of the castle to make it look older. See the video for tips and tricks. Set aside.

9.    Take the Basic White scraps and, using the seagulls of your choice from the Friendly Seagulls Stamp Set and the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, stamp them. We used the three (3) different ones. Use various blends to color the seagulls in. For this card, we used the Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Peach Pie, and Pecan Pie Blends. Set aside

10. Take the scrap of Real Red and cut out a flag.

11. Assemble the card. Take the Balmy Blue card base and adhere the Basic White masked cut piece with your Stampin’ Seal.

12. Take the back turret and adhere to the left side of the Basic White as shown.

13. Take the remaining two (2) turrets and the gate in front of the back turret as shown. Slide one of the seagulls onto the top of the left front turret and adhere with your Stampin’ Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

14. Adhere the remaining two (2) seagulls, one in the lower left-hand corner and one in the lower right-hand corner.

15. Adhere the flag from the right turret and use the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the pole.

16. Take the remaining Basic White scraps and, using the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, stamp ‘mine’ from the ‘bee mine’ stamp three (3) ‘mine’ sentiments. Adhere to the page as shown using the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tip: This card can be used for multiple occasions; just select the sentiment you wish!
