Instructions:

1.    Take a piece of the Pretty Peacock 8 ½” x 11” and cut to 5 ½” x 11”. Score the 11” side at 5 ½”. This will be your card base. Note: This will be a top fold card. Set aside.

2.    Take the Lemon Lime Twist 8 ½” x 11” and cut a piece 5 ¼” x 4”.  Set aside.

3.    Take a piece of the Otterly Adorable 12” x 12” DSP and cut a scene of your choice to 5” x 3 ¾”. You will want to be your scene aligns with a top fold card. For this card, we chose the adult and baby otter sitting on a log by the river. To add in the log later, we carefully cut the left side of the log on the DSP after cutting [to allow you to slip another log behind it.] This is optional.

4.    Take the cut piece of Lemon Lime Twist and adhere the Otterly Adorable cut DSP to the top of it using your Stampin’ Seal.

5.    Take the Lost Lagoon Soft Cording and cut a piece to 17” and tie around the layered Lemon Lime Twist and DSP.

6.    Take your layered Lemon Lime Twist with DSP and cording and adhere to your card base. You can use your Stampin’ Seal, or if you’d like dimension, you can use your Stampin’ Dimensionals.  

7.    Attach an adhesive sheet to a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock. Take the log die from the Otterly Amazing Dies set and use your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to cut out the log. If you do not have adhesive sheets, you can attach to your card later with Stampin’ Seal.

8.    Take your sponge dauber and your Pecan Pie Ink and gently run over the log for added dimension. Carefully remove the adhesive from the back of your log [or apply Stampin’ Seal] and slide behind the log the otters are resting on.

9.    Take some of the Riverside Irregular Pearls and add to the bottom right hand corner [or in areas of your choice].

10. Take a tag from a previous kit [or, alternatively, cut a piece of scrap cardstock to 1” x 3” and triangle the end, as shown in the picture]. Take a sentiment from the Otterly Amazing Photopolymer Stamp Set and stamp a sentiment using the Melon Mambo pad. We used the ‘love you lots’ stamp for this card. Adhere to the card using Stampin’ Diemensionals and ensure you run the cord between your dimensionals to give it additional adherence to the card.  Feel free to choose your own design and/or sentiment!

Tip: This card can be used for multiple occasions; just select the sentiment you wish [or create your own!]
